Understanding Astrology:

Understanding the basics of astrology is pretty simple once you get the hang of it! Astrology can answer questions about yourself, such as "Who am I?" and why you have intense emotions or react quickly. While astrology can provide valuable tools and lift you up, it won't make you rich overnight or find your true love instantly. Instead, it offers guidance and information to help you follow the path meant for you, but it's your responsibility to put in the work.

Astrology is often misunderstood by the general public. When I was younger and had little experience, I always felt that I didn't resonate with my zodiac sign. Over time, I learned that astrology encompasses various aspects of life, including love, career, personality, and emotions. The first step to understanding astrology is recognizing that it has many facets.

Each planet represents a part of your life, so I never fully resonated with all the typical Taurus qualities. As I learned more, I discovered that we all have moon signs that influence how we relate to emotions differently. Understanding these aspects about myself helped me navigate disagreements and deeply felt emotions.

For someone who has faced primarily bad luck or challenging circumstances, I can understand when people say, "Astrology didn't make me who I am; life and experiences did." While it’s true that we shape our lives through our own experiences, integrating astrology into my life has facilitated personal growth. For example, the moon sign in a natal chart can highlight areas for change or recognition of bad habits. I tend to think I'm right and resist other perspectives, but learning that I have a Leo moon helped me understand that I need to feel other emotions—anger, sadness, infatuation—to truly understand them. Leos are empathetic and spiritual, drawing motivation and inspiration from empathy.

Astrology involves more than just the sun sign; it examines the placement of every planet, known as a birth or natal chart. This chart includes the positions of all the planets (except Earth) and, for greater depth, can include the Ascendant line and comets. A natal chart provides a detailed personality profile, describing what makes you tick and how you function in various settings, including your career. By examining the current positions of the planets, we can begin to interpret their meanings and potential impacts on our future.

Why does this matter:

I get this question a lot, and I often see attempts on social media to debunk astrology. If we generalize anything we're interested in, why does any of it matter? Astrology may not solely dictate your placement and path in life, but it offers valuable insights and tools that can help you navigate your journey with greater ease and understanding.

Why does it matter to me:

The studies and theories I have read make the most sense. I enjoy the history of astrology the most, because It's comforting to know all the people who have left before us have found the stars and planets as intriguing as I do. When we look up the stars we all question the same things, “what does it all mean?” and they tried to make sense of it all. For me, it's inspiring.

What kind of services do I provide?

I offer birth chart readings using modern astrology, locational astrology, and predictive astrology, using traditional western astrology.

Birth chart readings provide an outlook of your life from the placements of the planets, this is more of a generalized reading about your personality and how you define with the chart in your everyday life.

Locational astrology is the most fun in my opinion! This gives an outlook of what places are the best to travel to, or where you should live. I use the placements of the birth chart to identify the movement of the planet. So where the planet rotates on its axis has a placement in longitude and latitude on the map and that will tell us if that axis line is beneficial or detrimental to you.

Lastly, predictive astrology, I use more traditional with secondary progressions, which for every year is a day in the year you were born and it has influence on where you’re at today and then I use whole sign transits of the placement of the planets today in comparison to your birth chart which can also have an influence on where you’re at today.

How are the readings created?
